    The Astrid offers a unique living experience in Bethesda, combining Scandinavian-inspired design with a tranquil setting backed by a nature preserve, fostering a highly desirable sense of calm and Hygge. The property is relatively new and boasts excellent, attentive staff and modern amenities, including an eco-courtyard, rooftop lounge, speakeasy, and a state-of-the-art gym.

    However, its secluded location on Pooks Hill Road gives it a low Walk Score, meaning residents are generally car-dependent for daily errands, although a complimentary resident shuttle service is provided to the nearby Medical Center Metro station. While the interior construction is generally quiet between units, residents should note potential noise from the busy adjacent roads and nearby Metro/train line, which is the main trade-off for the otherwise serene environment and high-quality construction.
